Connect(x) Healthware is pleased to announce that Atlantic Sleep and Rehab Centers of North Carolina has completed the upgrade process and are now actively utilizing the newly ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certified Chart(X) EHR 3.0 system in its sleep study facilities.
“Atlantic Sleep Centers has always been an organization that embraces technology as a means to improve the overall sleep lab experience. In addition, many of our system’s modules upgrades will have an immediate and positive impact on their bottom line."
CEO, Connect(x) Healthware
Atlantic Sleep and Rehab Centers, which opened in 2009 and operates facilities in Greensboro, Wilmington and Leland, North Carolina, selected Connect(x) Healthware to address a variety of business objectives, including increasing connectivity between facilities, improved cash flow, a reduction in billing cycles and of course anytime, anywhere access to medical information and images.
The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that EHR technology is capable of meeting the 2011/2012 criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Since its introduction in 2009, Connect(x) Healthware’s Chart(x) web-based EHR is a complete product—with medical imaging capabilities (PACS), medical billing functions, as well as a host of staffing management and QA tools.
Built on a scalable and distributable web platform, the Chart(x) EHR is designed for delivery via a private intranet or VPN (virtual private network), or securely over the Internet via a data center or the Cloud.
In March of this year, Connect(x) Healthware’s Chart (x) 3.0 HER received ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
